Soak brush bristles in warm water for 20–30 seconds to soften. Apply to shaving cream or soap and work into a generous, creamy lather on the face using circular motions. Allow lather to sit briefly, then proceed with shaving. Rinse brush thoroughly and allow to air dry between uses.
